The Visual Merchandiser manages the daily operations in coordination with Visual Merchandising Manager to ensure consistent and highly qualitative execution of the brand VM strategy.
Planograms
- Develop and manage "In and Out Planograms" of main configurations in line with the Visual Merchandising and Product Management strategy for the four axes (MU, SK, FRAG, TREX) 9 months before OCD
- Continuously manage the updates of the presentation as OCD approaches to be the guide for local planogram development and POSM implementation
- Serve as the Regional support for field VMs in order to adapt planogram guidelines to region specifics
- Manage updates of general VM planogram books guidelines to share with field teams
- Manage updates of VM calendars for Makeup, Fragrance, Skincare and TREX and adapt POSM forecasts accordingly
Top Door Focus
- Working with VM Manager and Field VMs prepare a monthly brief for 10 top doors including
- planograms by furniture
- description of all POSM needed for implementation 2 months before OCD
POS Distribution and Merchandising
- Update POS Masterfile continuously with development of new furniture and actualization of pivot table for planogram distribution by furniture and market
- Manage assortment coding classifications per primary furniture and markets
POSM Quotas
- Assure that all POSM quotas are allocated appropriately to POS as per VM calendars 2.5 months before COD
- Propose quota modification if needed to VM manager in line with VM calendars
- Assure proper back stock of basic menu quota is available in Miami warehouse to provide for upcoming installations
On Counter Maximization
- Working monthly with VM Manager create impactful and attractive on counter maximization guidelines to be approved by central to better highlight novelties at POS
- Adapt designs given by central to better meet our regions assortment and furniture (fragrance bar, skincare bar, lip studio gradients etc)
- Brief VIE directly for actual production and implementation of approved designs
Merchandising Development
- Work with VM team on key merchandising projects: DSS4
- Backstage Dior
- Lip Studios and more to come
New Installations
- Working with VM Manager and Architecture team to prepare planograms by furniture and determine assortments based on configurations and PAX for all new installation
- Provide references of POSM needed to implement installation
- Manage installation reports for B and C counter installations, prepare a brief to be given to team that will perform installation two weeks prior to installation date
- Follow up with installation to make sure all material was accurately received and installed
Other
- Propose any idea contributing to enhance the brand on the point of sales
- Helps in presentations and book preparations of Visual Merchandising
- Approximately 540 POS in 34 countries from North America (including Canada, USA and Hawaii), Central America and South America
- Some travel required (10%
- 15%/year)
Desired profile
Experience required : Minimum 2 years
- At least 2 years of experience in Merchandising and/or Marketing (ideally in Travel Retail)
- Marketing, Graphic Design, or Design Related Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator or other equivalent design software
- Capacity to analyze and react quickly
- Excellent attention to details
- Hard worker, rigorous, passionate, multitasker, and strong organization skills
- Ability to properly time manage, work under pressure, and be a team player
- Strong product knowledge and sensibility to luxury and beauty universes
- Good communicator
- both verbal & written
- Very good use of office tools (word, excel, ppt)
- Strong operational skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese and French are a plus)
