This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling the wholesale of US-manufactured products and our US-based After Sales & Service Center, regrouped in a stand-alone entity, San Dimas Luggage (SDL). This role also oversees financial analysis for our Supply Chain and Logistics functions across the Americas.
This position is charged with ensuring the ongoing accuracy, reliability and integrity of the company's financial data and reporting, compliance with company's policies and procedures and improving the company's profitability. We are looking for a strong financial profile who can also work as a business partner and member of the management team. This position is a great opportunity to lead the Finance function for an entity with the structure and support of a larger team and organization. It requires both high-level business strategy as well as the ability to roll up your sleeves and dive into the details.
The role oversees the Louis Vuitton Americas West Coast and East Coast warehouse operations costs, both outsourced to a third party provider, to ensure compliance with contractual agreements. In addition, this position is in charge of controlling the Louis Vuitton Americas overall warehouse, supply chain and logistics costs.

Desired profile

Experience required : Minimum 5 years
At SDL, be the financial business partner for logistics, supply chain, repair center and inventory control teams:
>  Help warehouse teams in monitoring closely their operations,
>  Provide financial guidelines and data to the repairs & after sales teams,
>  Maintain a mindset of zero tolerance policy on operations for central and regional warehouses, including securing inbound and outbound flows by enforcing strict rules,
>  Develop partnership at the top management level to ensure a solid company focus on financial controlling.
Monitor SDL's repair center's performance, similar to the standards of a small factory:
>  Implement an all comprehensive budget process for the cost center,
>  Keep track of industrial KPIs such as efficiency and service rate,
>  Monitor internal transfer pricing structure including hourly rate calculation,
>  Approve all expenditure and purchase orders (Opex and capex),
>  Closely monitor payroll costs of around 60 employees in coordination with Human Resources,
>  Monitor broker and freight costs (Temporary Import Bonds and spare part imports),
>  Provide monthly analyses on global North American repair activity including the retail side,
Monitor SDL wholesale's performance for US manufactured products:
>  Partner with the San Dimas production facility and finance team for yearly transfer prices,
>  Provide monthly margin reviews to Louis Vuitton Americas (LVA) management,
>  Calculate stock levels and stock coverage on US made items,
>  Help with warehouse capacity monitoring.
Generate & maintain monthly monitoring P&Ls and financial KPIs for both SDL activities,
>  Code invoices and provide guidelines to the Louis Vuitton Americas accounting team, located in NYC.
>  Review and approve payment groups and deal with supplier issues,
>  Assess SDL's financial control weaknesses and implement solutions to resolve them,
>  Monthly report SDL's activity to Central Paris teams and regional New York teams.
>  Provide SDL financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow forecast) production and analysis
>  Report forecast into the group reporting system (Syrus) and coordinate with New York Corporate finance on actual statements controls.
Monitor the Louis Vuitton Americas warehouse costs & budgets.
>  Prepare and issue monthly KPIs reports with appropriate analysis,
>  Identify potential issues and non compliance with service agreements,
>  This report should give an overall vision on both regional warehouse operations,
>  To be presented to top management regularly.
Organize, coordinate and supervise physical inventories and cycle counts in the Distribution Centers in partnership with Inventory Control.
Controlling of full warehouse, logistics and supply chain budgets for Louis Vuitton Americas in partnership with the teams in New York: budget construction, monthly review, challenge costs and processes.
