Mission Statement
- The Account Manager West is in charge of developing our brand portfolio in the Western region of Austria in terms of brand equity and brand profitability
- Furthermore, the goal is to achieve distribution and sales objectives, in value and volume, for the designated areas, in the selective off & on trade and to represent the portfolio of Moët Hennessy brands to all actors of the market.
Ultimately, he/she should implement and personally oversee all promotional programs set within the marketing plan
Main Responsibilities
Distribution and Sales
- Manages all on
- and off-trade accounts within the assigned region (Western Austria incl. entire Arlberg) including order taking using MH specific tools
- Achieves and exceeds sales targets in volume and value focusing on Western region (incl. managing selling prices)
- Creates new distribution opportunities and grows Moet Hennessy's brands (new accounts, new prospects)
- Develops relevant intelligence required to seize opportunities for portfolio growth
- Visits a defined universe of WS customers (stock reporting, implementation of promotional programs, etc.)
- Monitors and reports relevant market data (consumer trends, competitors' activities, economic circumstances) and developments to measure success
Visibility
- Ensures MH's brands are listed according to guidelines
- Grows visibility of MH's brands using fully and creatively the display materials (POSM)
- Implements special visibility projects (e.g. tailor-made tools) and event related merchandise
Education & Training and Representation
- Constantly increases his/her own brand and product knowledge to communicate the passion and inherent qualities of MH's product portfolio to the relevant audience
- Trains all trade staff on the crafting, service and selling of MH's brands (off-trade & on-trade)
- Passionately represents and communicates his/her knowledge to groups of target consumers
Promotion
- Sells, executes and oversees implementation of all on-trade and off-trade promotional programs and events (POSM, stoking up, wrap-up, ...)
- Tracks promotional results and effects, submits all relevant feedback (manager / mktg)
- Identifies and recommends new promotional opportunities
- Represent & support the company and the brands during events within the assigned region.

Desired profile

Expérience requise : Minimum 5 ans
Education:
Secondary education
Wine Diploma
 
Languages:
German
English read, write and speak
 
Professional experience & know-how:
2 to 5 years of sales experience
Preferably in wines sales positions or as sommelier in a top hotel or fine dining restaurant
advanced wines & spirits knowledge
