Business group : Perfumes & Cosmetics
LVMH F&C Singapore (LFCS) handles 5 brands of perfumes and cosmetics of the LVMH group (Parfums Christian Dior, Guerlain, Make Up For Ever, Benefit and Fresh) and regroups various activities, for Singapore and Asia region, of logistics, production, quality, commercial and back-office.
The Operation/Central Controller supports the Platform organization in all financial aspects including monthly management reporting, budgets, and all ad-hoc finance analysis. He/she constantly reviews and improves the level of management reporting by developing relationships with members of the organization and creating clear and detailed analysis.
He/she ensures best practices and coherent financial processes across
- making recommendations and implementing as appropriate.
The Operation/Central Controller takes part and challenges key business decisions using relevant reporting and analysis, and presenting data in a commercial way in order to optimize costs and efficiency of activities.
Business Analysis of one of LVMH Fragrances and Cosmetics brand
Work closely with Regional and HQ team and develop excellent knowledge of the business units’ operating environments
Evaluate profitability of the brand
Analyze the profitability by external customer and by subsidiary in accordance with brand management needs
Be involve and assist in the auditing process – both internal and external as required
Analyze of business risk and preparation of back-up plan for business target achievement
Monthly check and analyze of Syrus P&Ls
Analyze the overall delivery of company financial targets on a regular basis and report back to the business with recommendations as necessary
Prepare and carry out monthly meeting with the brand Management
Handle local report requested by the Regional and HQ Team
Prepare Budget and Revisions in accordance with parent company requirements and timetable, working with the local management and controlling teams to gather information in a timely and accurate way
Operations analysis of the brand
Weekly analyze CCR and yearly calculate them
Analyze monthly industrial variances
Follow up on inventories level and analyze stock depreciation
Participate in annual stock take data analysis
Financial Analysis of non-labour costs for Platform & Share Service Centre
Provide and update detailed monthly analysis of costs by cost center and by cost type, analyzing main variances with latest revision, budget and previous year
Prepare journal entries of accruals related to activity to be given to accounting on closing period
Prepare monthly management reporting to give feedback to department heads = IT, Finance, HR & Operations to monitor their expenses vs. Budget
Implement a follow up and budgeting tool for Travel & Expenses
During budget period, review of allocation key between the brands in accordance with the activities, brands KPI
Prepare packages required by HQ on quarterly closing and budget periods, and business reviews
