MAIN STATEMENT
Provide all key stakeholders in the region with the relevant analysis and tools required to ensure that the region meets its' business goals. Ensure all reporting deadlines are met each month.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Analysis & Planning (50% of Time):
> Design and prepare monthly accounts sold analysis to drive business growth by identifying key distribution opportunities
o Depletion Summaries
- High level snapshot on how the region is performing Daily, MTD, YTD, YTG Budget and Run Rates
o Gains & Losses
- Analyze YTD changes in volume by brand / quality based on market, county, and premise type
o Chain Tracking
- Depletion and trend analysis for the most prominent chains in the NE region at both the parent and individual store level
o Franchise Market Share
- Highlight changes in market share by distributor for franchise states
o Trade Channel Analysis
- Examine YTD actuals and FY forecasted depletions by channel type, on premise, off premise, and all channels
o ROI Nightlife
- Analyze return on Sales Promo investment by nightlife account based on regional & NAC spend data and depletions
o KPIs
- Build NE region roll up to view KPIs at the region level for Champagne & Sparkling, Wines, and Spirits for quarterly updates
> Maintain and enhance Mid-Month Forecasting Tool in Excel to highlight underperforming brands and assist Market Managers in consistently meeting targets
> Maintain and enhance Distributor Paid Programing (DPP) Reconciliation report to analyze distributor expenditures versus committed budget for quarterly reviews with Senior Management
> Create custom reports in Qlik Sense to support BDMs, MMs and Senior Management, including
o Dashboard
- Analyze changes in number of accounts, depletions, velocity and trends in each market by brand / quality / size
o Sales Report
- Analyze YTD volume changes and R12 trends by brand for specific accounts or groups of accounts
> A&P Effectiveness Project
Allocation & Depletion Management (20% of Time):
> Track all allocated products with BDMs by market and Distributor, send out weekly updates on products remaining to order, communicate delays, and facilitate solutions
> Lead bi-weekly calls with key Distributors covering allocations, value added packing (VAPs), open orders, claims, and inventory concerns
> Design and maintain shipment target reports by Distributor to assist Operations in franchise states
> Manage sales landing for the region, including communicating Operations targets to Distributors, Market Managers, and Sales VP while ensuring orders are being placed on-time and shipping within sales landing period
> Manage HN VS and Black monthly targets by distributor and communicate any timing or allocation changes
> Manage VAP/Giftbox process completely ensuring goods arrive in time for OND period
> Manage EOY shipment process to ensure distributors have enough goods to reach FY Distributor Budget
Administration (20% of Time):
> Weekly Allocation Reports for the NE Region
> Allocation Reports for Distributor calls
> Weekly Depletions Report for Senior Management
> Closing Inventory Reconciliation for PY
> Monthly Depletion Reconciliation between MH Biz (Accounts Sold & Depletions) and Anaplan
> Communicate key changes and major deadlines to Purchasing Agents
> SAP entry for new allocations
> Manage pricing memo's and/or pricing issues with Operations and communicate issues to MMs and BDMs
> Manage Claims and Transfers with Operations.
Desired profile
Experience required : Minimum 2 years
Training / Ad Hoc (10% of Time):
> Provide regularly scheduled training on technical and financial concepts to the NE Region team. Topics will include analyzing Accounts Sold and MHBiz reporting, custom reports in Qlik Sense, and intermediate/advanced excel related questions
> Complete ad-hoc analysis for the Senior Management on a routine basis
> Investigate MH Biz and Anaplan reporting data issues
PROFILE
Education: Undergraduate Degree required in Accounting / Finance
Languages: English
Skills:
- 3+ years business experience in a financial role in a commercial environment.
- Candidate must have excellent analytical and Excel skills as well as a high level of organization.
- An aptitude for numbers and a high level of attention to detail are integral to success.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and must be able to adapt to various work styles.
