MISSION STATEMENT
- To create value for the Moët & Chandon brand by building brand equity with the consumer target over the long term, whilst creating below the line tools for sales promotion to support short term sales achievement.
- To initiate, recommend and execute the marketing programmes, adhering to strategy guidelines and ensuring brand objectives are achieved for Moët & Chandon
- To act as brand ambassador with the trade, press, brand friends and VIPs
JOB DESCRIPTION
- To lead strategic development of annual brand plans/three year plans in accordance with brand, sales and financial targets and in line with global/Maison strategies
- To closely work with Moët & Chandon Maison to influence global strategies, and align on UK strategic direction
- To be responsible for communication and custodianship of brand strategies internally, and influence the commercial agenda of the brand in line with the brand strategy
- To set and agree objectives with Off and On Trade sales team, jointly developing plans for channels and key accounts
- To be responsible for any local advertising/activation creative development
- To be responsible for marketing programme and promotional development (objective setting, implementation and post-evaluation)
- To closely collaborate with the Senior PR Manager to agree PR objectives, develop focused PR strategies / activations, and agree KPIS
- To manage the Marketing Team, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities, and monitoring performance against objectives
- To take responsibility for Marketing team’s development, giving coaching support and guidance where necessary to enable them to achieve their goals and develop
- To act as Moët & Chandon brand ambassador at all manner of events including evenings and weekends
- To manage external agencies and internal resource for key marketing programmes – focus on delivery of Season programme – image and commercial objectives
- Work with Business Development team in development and evaluation of relevant trade focused programmes
- To develop research programmes in conjunction with Marketing Information Manager/Marketing Services when required
- To take direct responsibility for budgetary control of brand with monthly reporting to Marketing Director
- To agree forecasts and shipment plans with logistics
- To oversee POSM orders and usage, including regular strategic reviews of inventory
- Regularly spend time in trade and keep up to date with competitor activity across the marketing mix
- To fulfil reporting requirements

Desired profile

Experience required : Minimum 5 years
Education : Degree level
Languages :
- English fluent
- French is a plus
 Professional experience & know how :
- Luxury industry, drink industry experience is a plus, strong brand management experience (mini 6 years of experience)
 Technical & management skills :
- Budget management experience
- PowerPoint, Excel
- COGNOS, SAP experience an advantage
