We are looking for an SAP SD/MM expert to manage the Supply Chain and Logistics applications within our Information Services & Technology department.
The IS&T Supply Chain & Logistics Project Manager is responsible for strategic planning, defining project approaches and methodology, producing executive status reports, issue and risk management, managing overall schedule and interdependencies, conducting after action analysis and setting consistent standards and processes for Louis Vuitton Americas (LVA), meaning Canada, US and Latin America. S/he leads major projects as needed in an international context, in coordination with the LV Solutions team (in the Americas, Europe and Asia) and Infrastructure teams as well as with Central (Headquarters in Europe) teams.
The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager closely partners with Central Organization and Projects (O&P) to identify opportunities and to define the LVA roadmap in alignment with the global Louis Vuitton strategy. He/she continually ensures all LVA initiatives are in line with this strategy. s/he is expected to be fully knowledgeable about Supply Chain and Logistics process and projects in Central and other zones, and can only do so by building strong relationships with his/her counterparts throughout the world.
The Supply Chain & Logistics manager must also be 100% business oriented as s/he is a Business Analyst/Internal Consultant for the SC&L department. S/he has to fully define requirements and create solutions, and must gain the trust and respect of his/her business users. S/he is fully responsible for, and deeply knowledgeable of, the various technologies employed by the SC&L Solutions, which includes ERP systems and all integration. The Supply Chain & Logistics manager also endorses the responsibility of the World Wide Distribution Core Model.
The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager reports to the Back Office manager.

Experience required : Minimum 5 years
Application Management
- Responsible for the overall support of the Supply Chain & Logistics operations, and the key point of contact for the SC&L teams.
- Represent LVA in worldwide community (Central and other zones) for SC&L topics
- Act as key point of contact for business teams in relation to SC&L Applications
- Be the LV Core Model Distribution owner for the WW community, embracing the responsibility to maintain it with partners, to animate it with the other zones, taking leadership on which enhancements to provide
- Own monitoring and production support of ERP (SAP + JDEOW), warehouse management system, and all integration (EAI/ETL/Control M)
- Deeply knowledgeable on solution architecture topics in a retail environment, and able to investigate a broad range of functional and technical topics
- Proficient (or a least comfortable) with programming languages and development methodologies
- Contributor to application management planning by incorporating user experiences and best practices to propose future enhancements
- Provide weekly status reports on all activities
- Participate in frequent touch points with SC&L to ensure application management service level agreements are being met
- Define and apply security policies related to the applications in the Supply Chain scope
Project Management
- Manage new projects, both large and small, within the SC&L and Manufacturing business area
- Create and maintain project plans for Supply Chain projects such as Software customizations, upgrades, implementation of new modules, new business functions
- Coordinate/follow-up on project tasks across business users, IS&T and Central IS&T in France
- Enforce proper testing methodology & develop tests scripts in partnership with key business users
- Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios with the business; organize and coordinate UAT to ensure all scenarios are conducted and results properly documented
- Define and apply security policies related to these applications
- Participate in functional and integration testing
Business Analysis
- Define SC&L objectives for IS&T department working in conjunction with CIO, CTO, Business Solutions Director and Front Office Manager, and then confirm decisions with the Central/Zone counterparts.
- Act as an internal consultant by partnering with department heads and key users to define project scope and requirements
- Document business processes and associated IT processes
- Work with Central Solutions teams to validate scope and review priorities
- Act as subject matter expert regarding all Supply Chain initiatives
