POSITION SUMMARY
The Area Manager is responsible for driving retail sales, store team's achievement of business KPIs and supporting key brand strategies for Fenty Beauty throughout the UK markets. The Area Manager will work to develop and grow the Fenty Beauty business through practical "hands-on" management, coaching and development and motivation of the retail artistry teams within their territory, working with their education partners to ensure that their team is continually educated and skilled on all core collections, new product launches, store promotions and event initiatives.
Driving Sales:
- Responsible for driving sales in territory, building relationships with counter and store management, optimizing in-store merchandising, brand presentation and inventory focus
- Understand opportunities within territory and strategize with National Sales Manager to develop business plans for stores to increase sales, planning special events to support brand marketing calendar as needed
- Drive and exceed territory sales goals by leading by example and role modelling selling behaviours, techniques and training in-store, through coaching and development.
- Identify potential inventory issues and oversee visual merchandising standards during store visits
- Door by door focus to identify successes and opportunities for growth
Education and Training:
- Hire, on board, and manage retail teams to drive sales to support the Fenty Beauty business
- Coordinating with Sales and Education department to book new starters on training
- Ensuring all new starters successfully complete their induction programme ahead of their 3-month probationary period
- Work with Business/Counter Managers to develop a programme of ongoing events to support brand marketing calendar, drive sales and track retail sales against goal
- Fully understand the retailer and brand launch and activation calendar to efficiently drive business, e.g. store events, seminars, trainings and education events
- Through partnership with National Sales Manager, implement weekly conference calls and monthly counter manager meetings with CM's and quarterly area-specific cluster trainings and store-level events to maximize brand awareness and product exposure in-stores
- Collaborating with Education partners to ensure ‘best in class' execution of basic and seminar training through supporting facilitation and direct follow up at store level
Team Development
- Coach and develop direct reports to generate sales through KPI training focus and sales support in-store
- Developing talent and capabilities of retail teams through 1-1 engagement and regular coaching sessions
- Maximize team selling effectiveness through consistent in-market visits, leading by example and consistent recognition and feedback
- Ensure that team has a high level of artistry and skincare education
- Collaborate with Regional peers to develop best practices and drive team performance
- Implement PCR annual development programme with retail teams and agree scoring for review with National Sales Manager

Desired profile

Experience required : Minimum 2 years
 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Experience as Sales and Education Executive, Area Manager or Regional Manager within the premium beauty arena
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook
- Exceptional communication skills (presentation/verbal/written)
- Self-motivated, results oriented, creative thinker
- Proven Leader with flexibility and ability to function in a fast paced environment
- Must have proof of current and valid driver's license 
- Ability to travel an extensive geographical area across all UK and Ireland
