- E-Retail.
The Channel Activation Manager
- E-Retail will lead the e-tail activities of the MHA business, assisting the sales team in driving business growth for Omni channel and ‘pure play' e-tail customers. Collaborating with the Head of Digital and Channel Marketing Manager Off Premise, the Channel Activation Manager
- E-Retail will be responsible for coordinating all e-Retail activities.
Digital at its core, this role will leverage the MHA portfolio throughout all our Client's e-Retail platforms in order to create distinctive and memorable brand experiences and to maximise sales in synergy with our existing channels.
Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Objectives
> The National Key Accounts (Omni channel retail) are going through a significant period of strategic digital transformation. They are investing heavily in their e-retail / e-Commerce platforms to increase their digital market share and MHA needs to ensure relevance and demonstrate competitive advantage in this speciality.
> Develop and implement Moet Hennessy Australia agreed e-retail activations in connection with our National Key Accounts team (Dan Murphy's, BWS, Cellarmasters, 1st Choice, Vintage Cellars and Liquorland) as well as purely digital players such as Amazon.
> Develop and execute a 12 / 24-month strategy and execution plan for our priority e-retail customers: (Woolworths with: Dan Murphy's, BWS, Cellarmasters, and Coles: 1st Choice, Vintage Cellars and Liquorland) and selected pure play operators (Gifting and digital only specialists).
> Prepare for and execute' marketplace' proposal once Amazon is present in the market and the opportunity presents ‘at scale'
Reporting & Analytics
> Maintain a full understanding of eCommerce best practice, consumer trends/motivators and consumption habits and share across the MHA team owning and sharing an ‘E-retail / Omni channel best practice library' > Manage company product information that directly relates to E-retail. Product Information Management system, E-retail identity kits, E-retail content development
> Analyse retailer digital metrics and provide regular optimization recommendations to customers to improve conversion performance
> Analyse and measure overall business performance with customers that receive e-retail support to demonstrate value creation
Communication:
> Liaise and communicate effectively with the NKA Team, Marketing team in order to ensure all e-retail plans align to overall company customer plans
> Liaise with external parties as directed, e.g. advertising and PR agencies, digital, POSM and packaging materials production companies, in order to assist with the preparation of promotions and associated materials.
Develop and maintain strong relationships (internal & external)
> Develop strong relationships with all key internal and external points of contact including our key stakeholders within our National Key Accounts (EDG, CLG, IBA, LMG)
> Develop internal relations with Maison and central teams to ensure effective leverage of e-commerce opportunities
> Develop business potential through a partnership approach with MHA sales team and Maison teams where appropriate
Desired profile
Experience required : Minimum 5 years
Experience & Skills required:
- Business Degree or equivalent
- English Spoken / Written
- Strong previous e-Retail/e-Commerce experience preferably within premium/luxury brands
- Thorough understanding of e-Retail/e-Commerce sector with premium market experience (Demandware experience preferred)
- Strong planning, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong numerical, analytical and statistical skills
- Excellent communication, networking and interpersonal skills
- High standard of computer literacy (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
