Business Development Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Management
- Set and monitor individual store targets for retail
- Develop launch plans where appropriate for new doors to ensure retail targets are achieved
- Identify new opportunities to drive retail in existing stores; and upholding stringent visual merchandising standards in each point of sale
- Ensure store management and store employed fragrance consultants are fully aware of the Dior marketing plan and maximise new launches/events at store level while respecting the Dior Brand Values
- Review in store visibility and use persuasion and relationship management to enhance in store space at crucial selling times where possible
- Ensure all National Account initiatives are implemented at store level to Dior standards
- Conduct store visit reports and feedback on an on-going basis
Sell-through & training
- Ensure fragrance consultants understand the overall objectives of the brand and the Dior products they stock
- Improve brand and technical knowledge of beauty consultants
- Motivate and empower fragrance consultants to increase sales by using Dior selling techniques and building brand awareness in store
- Monitor and inspire any temporary staffing agreed at key selling times
Merchandising
- Ensure optimum space and correct location of products in store
- Implement Dior merchandising plans in stores ensuring optimum image and efficiency; encourage store management to follow these guidelines.
Relationships
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key store management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all relevant internal team members
- including Dior Head Office and SSC functions

Desired profile

Experience required : Minimum 2 years
Personal Specification
- At least 3-4 years' experience in a retail role, with some field based experience
- A graduate would be advantageous
- An understanding of luxury brands and how they operate
- Experience of UK retail market place
- Experience within either a luxury, premium or cosmetic/fragrance business
- Personal affinity with the Brand and products
