Within the group we manufacture a variety of Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) products under the brand names; Acrypet®, Diakon® and Elvakon® which are used by our customers across the world in a wide range of products such as rear lights for the automotive industry, glasses for watches and products and applications within the medical industry. To strengthen our EMEA Polymer commercial team we are seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join us and influence the results and strategy of our business as we continue to move into new markets and provide an innovative and customer focused approach to acrylic sales. This is an exciting opportunity to represent both MRC and Lucite International in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
You will be responsible for establishing the sales plans and ensuring sales targets are met, negotiating price deals, monitoring account profitability and utilising your commercial intelligence to ensure we make best use of business opportunities.
You will act as a Lucite International representative and brand champion, ensuring we maintain good networks and sector knowledge and will be the prime commercial contact for developing new customers with a prime focus on the automotive industry (i.e. injection moulders of rear-lights and interior/exterior panels). You will be responsible for making sure that customer requirements and expectations are not just met, but exceeded and will be proactive in communicating with other areas of the business and providing insightful monthly forecasts, reports and presentations.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional who is looking for a level of autonomy in their next career move and the ability to influence and have impact within a global leader. A science related degree or equivalent experience would be an advantage in our industry. Ideally we are looking for someone to join the team with existing experience of sales within the automotive industry and a proven track record of achieving sales (both new and existing) within a targeted environment. The role will allow you the opportunity to work across Europe and fluency in English and preferably an additional European language will be beneficial in our multi-cultural environment. You will have strong communication and influencing skills and have a confident approach to relationship building and to developing potential sales leads. Analytical, organisational and planning skills are essential and a solid understanding of commercial principles and activity will ensure your success in this role.
