THE ROLE

Lowell Solicitors is a law firm, approved and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, which operates independently from but is a member of the Lowell Group. Lowell Solicitors provide debt recovery.

The successful candidate will handle inbound and outbound calls, talking to our clients customers about their accounts which have fallen into arrears. The role will involve understanding the customer’s situation and then working with them to put in place affordable repayment plans throughout the litigation processes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Ideally you would have gained experience in a call centre or customer focused environment or equivalent.
• Experience of using computer systems on a day to day basis.
• Experience of working in a litigation/Legal environment is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to one of the Team Leaders your responsibilities will be as follows:-

1. To discuss the with our clients customers their case and financial situation
2. To deal with our clients customers fairly and reasonably in all circumstances
3. To support the clients customer in choosing the right solution for them to enable them to clear outstanding accounts.
4. To follow all relevant legislation and polices including but not limited to the SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority), FCA (Financial Conduct Authority), CSA debt collection guidelines, the Lending Code, other codes of practice and in-house policies and also procedures.
5. To develop an understanding of litigation procedures
6. The ability to recognise complaints and escalate such matters as appropriate
