Warehouse Assistant - Part-Time & Full-Time

Job description

We are looking for keen and reliable individuals to join the Lovehoney logistics team over our busy Christmas period for a fixed term contract of 3 months. It is a fast paced environment and work needs to be completed to clear deadlines. A good level of fitness is required as you will be lifting, moving and packing stock, and you’ll need to be able to work quickly, as part of a team and using your own initiative.

Applications for both full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part time hours will be considered. Please indicate on your application the hours you would ideally wish to work.

Responsibilities:

• General warehouse duties including the picking and packing of customer orders

• Unloading deliveries and helping to replenish stock

• Assisting with regular stock checks

• Compliance with security and health and safety procedures

• Adherence to operational processes and standards of tidiness

• Using computerised systems, barcode scanners and other technology to record the movement of stock

As a successful applicant you will have:

• Self motivated and with a 'can do attitude’

• Hard working with impeccable time-keeping

• Excellent accuracy and numeracy skills

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment would be beneficial

• GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths grade C or above

Hourly rate is £7.00ph and shift patterns we are looking to fill are:

• Monday to Friday Morning Shift 5 a.m - 1 p.m
• Monday to Friday Evening Shift 1 p.m - 9 p.m
• Monday to Friday Night Shift 4 p.m - 12 p.m
• Saturday Morning Shift 5 a.m - 1 p.m
• Saturday Day Shift 8 a.m - 4 p.m
• Sunday Day Shift 8 a.m - 4 p.m
• Sunday Evening Shift 1 p.m - 9 p.m
