VIE JUNIOR CORPORATE FINANCE AND STRATEGY OFFICER

Poste et missions:
We are looking for a highly motivated VIE to give a hand to the Louis Dreyfus Commodities “Corporate Finance and Strategy” team:
- Preparation of Board and Strategy committee meetings:
o Competitive watch / Industry review (return, balance sheet, leverage, M&A moves…)
o Return analysis
o Valuation works
o LDC portfolio review
o Group funding policy review…
- Construction of the 5-year Group Business Plan:
o Preparation and facilitation of the process
o Review of platform forecasts including: volumes, commercial margin, G&A, capex
o Cost of funding forecasts
o Debt, cash and Equity forecasts at various holding levels
o Monitoring of strategic guidelines implementation
o Final consolidation and scenario modeling…
- Other strategic reviews and ad-hoc requests from the Group CFO and top management
The VIE will interact with platform Heads, Business development Department, central reporting teams, region and central Treasurers…
Training and supervising will be ensured by the Head of Corporate Finance & Strategy (15 years in the Group) and by a manager (6-year work experience).
Profil:
o Top-class business or engineering school graduate with a first experience in corporate finance: M&A, transaction services, restructuring, financial audit.
o Strong autonomy and organization
o Problem solving approach and willingness to lead projects
o Flexibility in work and multi-tasking abilities
o Ability to respect strict deadlines
o Very good communication skills
o IT skills (perfect knowledge of Excel and ability to code in VBA).
