Purpose of the role:

As the Country Manager - (Hungary), you have overall responsibility for our Hungarian business including P&L. This includes all aspects of the business - including market strategy, product, promotions/CRM, customer acquisition, payment and CS. This is done in close cooperation with the respective functional departments.

What you'll do:

  • Develop country strategy, positioning and growth plan for the Hungarian market.
  • Overall responsibility for Lottoland’s Hungarian website.
  • Ensure Lottoland offers a competitive and effective product for the market. Implement acquisition-marketing plan in cooperation with the central online marketing team.
  • Create and implement a BTL marketing plan.
  • PR-work in the market in order to achieve positive media coverage in Hungarian media.
  • Networking with media and site owners.
  • Create word-of-mouth and social media coverage.
  • Manage the wider team - both direct reports and indirect reports.
  • Monitor development of regulatory situation.

Experience required:

  • Good understanding of e-businesses and at least 5 years work experience in a B2C online business.
  • At least 3 years experience as a Hungarian Country Manager with an e-gaming/betting business.
  • Creative in finding ways to acquire customers and grow the business.
  • Native Hungarian speaker, Fluent in English.
  • Good understanding of online and BTL marketing
  • Good net-worker in the (online) media and affiliate landscape.
  • Ability to work effectively in a lean environment doing both strategic and hands-on work.
