Job description
We're looking for a talented and ambitious Digital Marketing Intern to get involved in all areas of our marketing working alongside our Head of Marketing on anything from social media through to new campaigns, blogs and email marketing.
The Digital Marketing Intern role at LSW will be varied and stimulating. There will be a lot of responsibility and potential for growth within the role and the company. After three months this role will be reviewed and could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.
While we are well-established, we also have a start-up vibe and we expect you to have a 'can do' attitude and bring ideas to the table. This is an amazing opportunity to play an important role in a value driven, well established company as we enter an exciting phase of expansion.
The role is flexible; two days working from home and three from our central London office space.
Main marketing duties and responsibilities:
-Uploading & optimising marketing content including blog posts, website, email newsletters.
-Managing social media accounts, innovating and strategizing, and measuring for best results.
-Supporting with SEO strategy.
-Managing our Hubspot account and supporting with creation of workflows and lead generation campaigns.
-Co-ordinating Ebooks and using them as lead generation tools.
-Uploading blogs and ensuring we get ROI across our blogs.
-Creating, updating and maintaining professional MS Office presentations and marketing materials.
This Job Description is intended to provide a broad outline of the main responsibilities only. The post holder will need to be flexible in developing the role and in initial and on-going discussions with the Head of Marketing.
INTERN SALARY: £250 per week
Desired profile
What we are looking for:
-A passionate interest in digital marketing & social media.
-Knowledge of graphic and video design software.
-Creative writing skills for different materials from social media content to blogs, press releases and website copy.
-Experience using digital marketing tools would be advantageous - such as email marketing software (MailChimp etc.), website CMS software (google analytics, WordPress etc.), social media platforms and automation software (Facebook, Hootsuite etc.), CRM systems (Hubspot, salesforce).
-Positive attitude and friendly outlook.
-Able to work under pressure, prioritising to meet deadlines, juggling busy workload and multi-tasking with high attention to detail.
-Self-motivated, managing own time and working alone where necessary as well as part of a team.
-Forward thinking, proactive and creative.
-Interest in communication and psychology.
