The CP COO Transformation Office drives the “change the bank” agenda through the evolution and transformation the Lombard Odier operating model through successful end-to-end implementation of strategic and regulatory programmes prioritized by the bank, using best-practice project management methodology. Core to this mission is to provide digital solutions for bankers and clients with the goal to unburden front office, increase efficiency and improve the client and bankers’ experience. To strengthen our digital offering and client servicing, we are looking to expand our team of product owners (agile, scrum product owners), who will report to the head of Digital Product Management within the Transformation Office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for backlog planning, leading, coordinating, and monitoring activities of digital product(s) or projects, and will require strong collaboration with other departments to define project scope and objectives. The candidate will work closely with the Business Engagement team to communicate and effectively implement changes with the Front Office. The candidate requires excellent organization and communication skills, with proven experience and career focus on agile project governance. They should have the ability to anticipate and identify project issues and risks and recommend mitigating action, as well as provide regular reporting covering project status including major deliverables, risk factors and financials. YOUR MISSION:

Develop an innovative ‘product’ vision & roadmap based on business, technical, and opportunity assessments, leveraging domain experience. In partnership with key business stakeholders, align and maintain the product vision. Represent the vision and the functional requirements of the stakeholder community being the first source of information
Gather and analyse end-to-end requirements and user stories around the LO digital platforms
Define and prioritize product roadmap and detailed backlog such that the solution effectively addresses programme priorities across a number of planned sprints
Support the bank to transition to agile programme methodology
Ensure product backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all stakeholders
Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results with the help of SME for integration, functional, performance and user acceptance testing
Close collaboration with Programme Management Office (PMO) to accurately report programme status against defined parameters (scope, schedule, effort and budget) according to defined guidelines
Establish and maintain project governance including executive level reporting
Close collaboration with our technology department as business representative.
Responsible for developing and updating the business case to determine timeframes, funding needs, technology requirements and procedures for successful delivery of projects within an agile methodology
Monitoring possible risks, issues and dependencies that could impact delivery and either mitigate, resolve or escalate as appropriate
Influence internal stakeholders across multiple departments to drive the execution of product roadmap – proactively engage with the front office to obtain requirements and syndicate project updates
Capable to measure and communicate value-add (e.g. via KPIs), and impact to the business

DESIRED PROFILE:

4-6 years relevant work experience, e.g. as a current or former management consultant (e.g. Deloitte, E&Y, PWC, Accenture) with experience in financial services
Relevant experience in a product or project management role for a financial services firm with a focus on digital transformation
SCRUM framework experience (e.g. CSPO certification)
A proven self-starter; ability to operate independently and lead large projects with limited oversight
Familiarity with private banking products, institutional trading workflows, technology and financial instruments
Can achieve results by building consensus across organisational and functional lines and in managing stakeholders in a matrix environment
Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment – strong sense of urgency
Strong consulting mindset with experience presenting to or advising executive level management
Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others
Advanced or proficient level of Microsoft Office skills, PowerPoint, Excel, JIRA and Confluence.
Detail oriented; demonstrates initiative, thoroughness and strong ownership of work
Has demonstrated a structured approach to delivery: proven ability to chair meetings with clear agenda, documented input and outputs and follow-up
Fluent in English and French; excellent communication (written and verbal), networking and presentation skills
