Lightspeed is on the hunt for a Marketing Project Coordinator to join our London-based Sales team as well as to take charge of our ambitious communications calendar.

You'll juggle multiple projects - for internal and external audiences – and will make sure all of them are planned, scheduled and completed on-time, on-budget and in alignment with our strategic priorities. You'll work on everything from managing and tracking marketing projects, in coordination with the Montreal and Amsterdam office, local London events to marketing and partnership activities and large UK national events.

As a Marketing Project Coordinator you will:

Manage all aspects of our projects, ensuring activities are planned, deliverables and timelines are met and dependencies are communicated to partners and the global marketing team.
Constantly monitor and report on the progress of projects. Develop mechanisms to alert stakeholders when the project is not on schedule and provide recommendations on blockers.
Be an independent thinker and good communicator.
As needed, act as primary point of contact for external vendors to ensure products and services are delivered within the agreed-upon time frame for events and other activities.
Assure that projects meet scheduled milestones.
Manage and distribute weekly status updates and daily task lists.
Schedule and run various marketing project meetings.
Formally close-out all completed projects, including final costs, results and “post mortem” documentation on project successes and challenges.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired profile

As a Marketing Project Coordinator you need to have:

A University degree, or equivalent knowledge, in project management, marketing or similar field.
2+ years of experience, with progressively increasing responsibility.
Strong project and time management skills as well as good business acumen
Excellent communication and people skills with experience in managing local and/or global projects
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, international, dynamic, and results-driven organisation.
Assets:
Deep understanding of the UK market, and how to build brand awareness therein
Localisation of global strategies
Experience working with UK/IE independent businesses
Experience in managing events, marketing campaigns
