As the Shop Labourer, you will assist the mechanics by conducting basic maintenance tasks and procedures in and around the storage/shipping yard and workshop related to heavy equipment. This position is based in Fort MacKay, Alberta.

Labourer Job Duties

· Assist with general servicing of site, workshop and washbay
· Material handling including moving of freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles or containers, by hand or using trucks, forklift or other equipment
· Conduct general workshop/yard cleanliness and debris disposal
· Cleaning and readiness preparation of equipment and vehicles
· Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected
· Document and submit incoming and outgoing machine and attachment product movements to, from and on the site
· Accurate and timely submission of reports and technical document including service reports
· Operate and maintain tools, equipment and work areas in accordance with company policy

Labourer Requirements

· High school or equivalent required
· General labourer work experience with heavy equipment in a related field
· Proper use of related tools including forklift license considered an asset
· Operating vehicles, mechanized devices, or equipment
· Ability to use proper lifting techniques and devices
· MS Office, service reporting/time entry software
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Follows instructions, guidelines and protocols
· Valid driver’s license
· 5 day on 2 day offwork week schedule
