Job description

Reporting to the Parts and Service Manager - Laval, the Parts Advisor is responsible for filling parts orders and assist internal and external clients in their search for parts. Assumes the follow-up to final delivery to the client.

The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day and additional working hours may be required on occasion

Responsibilities

· Opens and maintain all work orders –find parts, input labour, and register outside vendor invoices
· Create, receive, stock all PO’s from factories and distributors
· Take customer calls (parts as well as service when needed)
· Order all supplies for mechanics
· Assist mechanics with parts needed to complete work orders
· Process and create all warranty claims for corresponding factories – coordinate warranty parts return as well as credit notes
· Process, print and mail all part and work order invoices
· Provide superior internal and external service to maximize customer satisfaction

Competencies

· Minimum High school diploma; post-secondary Diploma as Parts Advisor or Sales would be considered an asset
· 2+ years’ experience in an heavy equipment, truck or automotive related industry
· experience in a parts related position considered an asset
· Bilingual in French and English
