Responsibilities

Development of HW specifications for engine components used in diesel and gas engines for off-highway and heavy duty applications
Coordinate and ensure succesful integration of sensors, actuators and system components into engine and its periphery (especially sensors for exhaust aftertreatment system)
Responsible for requirements management in close contact with external suppliers and internal partners
Develop and organize component and system validation plans and coordinate functional integration for E/E components (e.g. CAN, PWM, analog, Labview Testing Tools)
Creation of integration specifications for customers and ensure the interface with customers for all topics related to E/E system application and integration
Support system integration into production line, follow the serial launch of the application and support the customer service
Partial responsibility for supplier selection and supplier quality management, contribute to continuous improvement process

Requirements

Succesful completion of studies in electronic or mechantronic engineering or a similar qualification (m/f)
In depth knowledge in engine control systems, experience with sensors and actuators designed for engine applications is a plus
Several years of experience with HW development / system applications and experienced in interacting with external suppliers
Expertise with basic measurement devices and CAN tools, know how in state of the art validation plans and trouble shooting
Very good knowledge in English, good knowledge in German or French would be highly advantageous
Excellent system approach and customer orientation, analytical and solution-oriented mindset, flexibility and willingness to change, teamplayer attitude and intercultural skills
