Job description



Our HR/SAP Projects Digitalisation team is working with Lidl International on an IT solution to transform and future proof our shift planning, time recording and time evaluation processes across all our stores: time evaluation and working time correction practices which were previously carried out in a local custom time management system and local SAP payroll system will be moved into a Global SAP HR system, supported by web based Fiori end user applications; shift Planning will be moved to a new web-based tool built in the Ceridian Day Force application. Integration between these 2 new solutions and the existing SAP payroll is key to the success of this project, along with proactive management of employee time data during and after the roll out.

This is a global SAP HR Time Management project, which will significantly change our systems landscape and processes within Sales, IT, HR and Payroll.

What you'll do

·  Supporting roll out groups across the country
·  Tracking issues and dealing with logged tickets as 3 rd line support
·  Providing feedback to multiple project stakeholders, including Global Support teams
·  Dealing with queries from end users
·  Testing new functionality of application updates and bug fixes
·  Maintenance tasks including reporting and reconciliation of data across systems
·  Migrating employee time data from legacy systems to new IT solutions
·  Providing support and training to users and developing training materials
·  Identifying issues and working with stakeholders to provide solutions
·  Once roll out is completed, this position will become the Key User for Time Management in the HR Services team

What you'll need

·  Previous experience working with SAP HR in an end user / super user capacity with a focus on time evaluation is essential
·  Experience managing large volumes of data
·  Experience of learning new systems and processes quickly and in depth
·  Good understanding and experience of positive time recording and time correction processes in an operational environment
·  An ability to understand payroll processes and payroll interfaces is highly desirable
·  Driven and motivated with a positive outlook, curious and able to solve problems
·  Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
·  Confident with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal, both with internal and external contacts)
·  Collaboration skills working across departments with users with differing levels of knowledge and experience.
·  Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines
·  German language skills are highly desirable, but not essential
