Our Construction Department is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Secretary to join the Head Office team. As a professional secretary with the highest standards, you will be at the forefront of Lidl GB's plans across the country. From providing daily support to our Director and Heads of Department, to preparing KPI presentations and executive summaries, you will make use of a range of talents to assist the team in facilitating our ambitious plans. What you'll do
• Providing daily support to the Director of Construction, including travel booking, calendar management, mail, emails, phone calls, office organisation, and holiday planning
• Coordinating appointments, drafting agendas, and writing minutes
• Preparing KPI reports, executive summaries, presentations and consolidating documents
• Supporting Senior Management in the department with administrative tasks
• Supporting in the implementation / management of projects, and the organising and running of national meetings
• Translating documents into English
• Executing general office management tasks, including hospitality and meeting room preparation
• Raising Purchase Orders, appointing works, and processing paperwork
• Checking and processing invoices
• Managing incoming telephone calls, emails, and post
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
What you'll need
• Proven secretarial/admin experience.
• Strong computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail with high standards of quality
• German language skills would be advantageous, but not essential.
• The ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deadlines and a varied workload.
• Motivated, proactive, and willing to learn and develop within the role.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to always act professionally and confidentially.
