What you'll do
· As part of the Lidl Plus team:
· Work on Trials and Projects to increase customer loyalty
· Improve processes to allow successful trials to integrate into the team as BAU
· Interpret project results and succinctly present them to senior leadership
· Ensure that promotional budget is optimally invested by running tests and analysing results
· Drive customer behaviour
· As part of the Customer Insights team:
· Enable decisions impacting every part of Lidl to be made based on data and insight
· Work with Panel Data, Brand Tracking, Customer Satisfaction and Ad Hoc Research to find opportunities for growth
· Study the drivers of Lidl’s performance and benchmark to other retailers
· Review product ranges to identify strong and weak items for Lidl and competitors
· Develop customer engagement strategies and tactics which can be implemented across the entire business, within our bespoke customer segments, or even for individual stores
What you'll need
· A 2:2 degree or above in any discipline by September 2025 or graduated no earlier than September 2023
· To be legally entitled to work in the UK on a full-time basis
· Already live - or happy to relocate - within a one-hour commute of Lidl GB Head Office in Tolworth, South West London
· Be passionate about the food retail industry
· Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
· Be assertive and confident in your communication skills
· Be self-motivated and able to work independently
· Confident to make tough decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines
· Business-minded approach; commercially savvy and resilient
· Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
· Able to attend the assessment day on 30 th January 2024
