We are looking for a confident and motivated Officer to join our Head Office Buying Contracts team. This is an ideal role for a positive and enthusiastic team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and will relish working under pressure.
You'll be coordinating product category specific work, liaising with Buyers, Suppliers, writing contracts and support your team leaders working on projects and process improvements.

What you'll do
· Writing of contracts for Food Own label, Branded, Fresh Produce & Non-Food items for GB and/or other export countries
· Checking, sending out and receiving initiations sheets, product master data requests (via Supplier Portal), supplier data requests or other relevant documents (e.g.: certificates)
· Maintaining of purchasing systems (EKK, EKS, DMS, LNP, FAP, etc.)
· Keeping business critical deadlines and ensuring other departments are meeting deadlines – submitting information to INT.
· Supporting our suppliers and stakeholders with department relevant requests
· Assisting with project work and making suggestions for improvements (LEAN), leading ad hoc tasks
· Ownership of own remit with a high standard of quality within the agreed business deadlines
· Conducting training and preparing training material
· Holding presentations to the wider department
· Participate actively in the teams Change management and understand the Quality Management system
· Being able to react to any urgent situation and ask ATM/manager for help
· Have a positive working attitude
· Resolving price differences queries in Purchasing system
· Very good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
What you'll need
· German speakers preferred
· Motivated, able to work well in a team and independently in a high-pressure environment
· Organised with the ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines
· Excellent time management skills
· A high degree of adaptability
· A confident approach with excellent communication skills
· The ability and confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business
· Excellent attention to detail
· Pro-active, approaching problems logically and calmly
· Fully proficient in Microsoft Office
· Positive can-do attitude with the willingness to learn
