Cabling designer engineer at Nissan Techno Centre Europe Cranfield
Job description:
- Design and update the circuit diagrams of a Nissan project in the Cabling Designer software for a tiers one supplier.
- After a period of coaching, the cabling designer engineer will take the responsibility of circuits design for some NISSAN projects. All the following tasks will be on his/her responsibility
- Responsible for adapting the circuit diagrams information to the specificities of the project.
- Adapt or correct the circuit diagrams to make them match with the 3D harness data of the project.
- Responsible for designing error-free circuit diagrams and sending them in the Cabling Designer Nissan database.
- Responsible for converting the Cabling Designer data into input data for Leoni harness design tool.
- Raise detailed design change documentation.
- Implement the request of modifications necessary to the industrialisation of the harnesses, coming from Leoni side.
- Respect the Nissan project planning and deliver circuit diagrams without delay.
- Attend Customer meetings.
- Carry out data checking between customer and internal data.
- nsure that the circuit design meets all relevant customer specification
- Ensure that all internal design rules are met.
- Communicate with all our overseas teams in France, Romania, Russia and Japan.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Very fluent in English,
- Engineering degree in “ Electrical engineering”,
- Internship with automotive industry
- Motivated by the automotive industry and the tiers one supplier,
- Experience on computing and modelling software,
- Autonomous,
- Good interpersonal communication and relationship.
