The Compliance Auditor will manage Stores, Home Office, Call Center, and Distribution Center Electronic I-9 and form compliance. They will interface with the E-Verify Website System (in all mandatory E-verify States/Cities), Store Hiring Managers, Center Compliance, Brand HR contacts, HR Direct Call Center and Government Agencies, including the Social Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security, to perform daily compliance responsibilities to ensure required forms, I-9 and E-Verify expectations are consistently met. Problem solving and taking a proactive role in resolving related issues. Ensure that all critical processes and compliance requirements are completed timely and accurately. Support systematic improvements and continually refine processes for efficiency. 

RESPONSIBILITIES -Daily follow up (via phone and email) on required onboarding documents for Home Office, Distribution Center, and Stores new hire associates. -Support auditing and compliance activities for required Electronic forms, I-9, and E-Verify processing -Customer facing support of I-9 completion for Distribution Center orientation events -Daily follow up (via phone and email) on expiring work authorization documents -Auditing, follow up, monitoring, filing and purging of existing paper I-9 documents for Home Office, Distribution Center and Call Center new hire associates. -Complete E-Verify compliance procedures (internalize compliance expectation outline in the User Guides, successfully complete initial and ongoing Tutorial requirements, etc). -Verification of I-9 documents for (AZ, SC and any other E-Verify mandatory states/city) new hires and follow-up on all non-confirmations identified by the Government. -Interface with the federal governments E-Verify website (Social Security Administration and/or Department of Homeland Security), monitor all new hire E-Verify authorization cases for validation or non-confirmations from the SSA and/or DHS. -Report out all tentative non confirmations to brand contacts and educate leaders on compliance concerns. Notification and education of Store Management of the actions that the new hire must take to resolve the tentative non-confirmations. As well as the compliance responsibilities of the Store Mangers. -Facilitate the final steps and case resolution of any final non-confirmation issues (per the E-Verify processing procedures). -Report out compliance issues to brand Leaders and HR for I-9 and required form Compliance and outstanding missing documentation. -Conduct ongoing compliance education, facilitation, maintenance and networking (with internal leadership and Government Agencies’ policy and procedure) to ensure LBI is meeting compliance expectations. -Provide ongoing compliance reporting to Payroll Leadership, Center Compliance, and Brand partners. -Identify areas of improvement and provide solutions for efficiency improvements to processes and procedure -Support and actively participate in departmental Blue Chip initiatives (WOTC Compliance, Paperless Pay Compliance, Team Building, etc.) -Effectively communicate with customer groups (including Payroll Management, Center Compliance, Brand HR, Store Management, General Counsel, Government Agencies, etc.). 

Qualifications

Prior experience facilitating the completion of the Form I-9 preferred -Knowledge of acceptable employment authorization documents (including but not limited to Foreign passports, Permanent Resident cards, Employment Authorization cards, Refugee’s, Asylee’s, etc. ) preferred -Prior experience in a Service Center Environment preferred -Human Resources or auditing for accuracy experience preferred -Experience using HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft, and Oracle Fusion preferred -Ability to effectively communicate with entry level associates up to Executive Level Management -Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) experience required -Word processing data entry experience preferred -Strong attention to detail and accuracy. -Strong communication skills -Ability to work in a team environment to achieve goals EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION -Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related area.
