A "tier 1" international partner group of the world's leading aircraft manufacturers (Airbus, Embraer, Dassault, Boeing, Bombardier), Latecoère operates in all segments of aeronautics (commercial, regional, business and military aircraft), in two areas of activity:
? Aerostructure Industry (58% of revenue): fuselage sections and doors.
? Interconnection systems (42% of turnover): wiring, electrical furniture and on-board equipment.

1. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
The project consists in the modification of a business aircraft fuselage in terms of, among other things, the position of the doors, the modification of the windows in size, position... Activities will be limited to structure, and their assembly process. To date, the exact scope of the modifications has yet to be determined and will be defined by the end customer at the beginning and during the project.
2. MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES
The manufacturing engineers (ME) shall prepare the assembly instructions and specify all the manufacturing means (jigs, machines, handling means,…). ME shall be responsible for the “design to manufacturing”, they have to request all improvements in the design to guarantee the “Right for the First Time”. ME shall be responsible to meet program schedule and release dates for manufacturing data as defined by the group leader. ME shall work according to end customer design practices and standards.
a. DEFINITION OF TASKS
Tasks will include:
- Explain all manufacturing constraints to the design team and argue
- Develop the assembly process in accordance with the Latecoere means;
- Specify all changes for the assembly jigs;
- Write the assembly instructions
b. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications shall include:
- Education
- Aeronautical Eng. / Mechanical Eng. BSc (or equivalent);
- Knowledge in the manufacturing of aircraft structures and systems installation;
- Knowledge in manufacturing process, assembly principles, and means
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Must be able to work both independent or in group.
