The Omnichannel Project Manager for North America is a key player in driving innovation for the ecommerce and retail businesses in the United States and Canada. The candidate will be responsible for the successful implementation and execution of all customer experience and infrastructure enhancements and developments based on business objectives and priorities.
This Project Manager will work with global and local teams to secure resources, understand and maintain budgets, develop deliverables, and build and execute project plans. This role is highly cross-functional, interacting with many internal teams including Ecommerce, Retails Operations, MIS and CRM. This role also has regular contact with third party vendors including order management, payment systems, website platforms and distribution centers. Strong communication, leadership and collaboration skills as key.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT (75%)
- Manages and develops strategic and tactical project plans, maintaining simultaneous work flows for North American omnichannel business
- Establishes and secures the North American Project Validation Workflow through budget and resource allocation
- Liaises with global teams to facilitate and ensure insertion and completion of business structuring projects for North America, within the Group’s global omnichannel roadmap
- Effectively and efficiently organizes and leads meetings with stakeholders and key users. Document meeting notes and defines next steps
- Closely monitors Project completion status (Scoping, design, build, integration, testing, transition to run) using the Group’s methodology and ensure timely delivery of each party’s milestones/deliverables
- Highly active participant in project completion by developing visual documentation, training materials and post mortem assessments. Writes the necessary processes to support transition towards run mode for business teams
- Analyzes and defines business processes for the local markets. Establishes oneself as thought leader by continued education in competitive set and omnichannel realm
- Writes functional specifications for all projects in coordination with key users
- Manages technical resources and/or project management dedicated resources
DIGITAL FLAGSHIPS EVOLUTIONS (15%)
- Prioritizes release content in partnership with ecommerce coordinator, based on North American business priorities for both Canada and United States
- Assesses local business requests and determines scope to produce at North America level
- Gathers all business requirements from individuals
- Monitors Non Regression Testing Protocol
- Proposes and communicates process SLAs to team members
- Adheres to budget and deadlines
ECOMMERCE OPERATIONS (10%)
- Supports escalation of ecommerce order management for Canada and United States website operations
- Assists ecommerce coordinator with monitoring and assessing order flow and third party systems
- Liaise with third party solutions related to order management and global resources to repair or enhance current workflows
Desired Skills:
- Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
- 2-3 years of project management preferably in global fashion or beauty brand or agency
- Experience with digital and ecommerce teams and workflows
- Knowledge of technical processes such as IT or web development
- Mid-Advanced knowledge of project management tools and processes
- Motivated problem solver who is nimble and produces high volume work at exceptional quality
- Can respond under pressure and mitigate issues within project development and interpersonally
- Proactively identifies hurdles and assesses risk to present possible solutions
- Consistently hits deadlines and achieves original scope of work
- Comfortable making business decisions within the best interest of the project and North American priorities and business needs
