Our client is an international biotechnology company with offices in Europe, Asia and America. This company focuses on the development, production and marketing of vaccines

The scientist main responsibility is to ensure the timely and correct sample analysis of clinical samples, either in house or outsourced to CRO's or partners. For outsourcing, the scientist is responsible for the technical and scientific evaluation and selection of candidate partners, and for monitoring the outsourced activities. For in house activities the scientist is responsible for the design, coordination and execution of assay development and validation, and for the organization of the clinical sample analysis. The required activities must be executed, documented and reported according to Good Clinical Laboratory Practise (GCLP) quality requirements. The scientist will supervise one or more technicians.

For this position we are recruiting laboratory professionals with the following background:

• PhD in biological/medical sciences and experienced in immunology and/or oncology


• Knowledge of immunological assay development and validation according to ICH guidelines


• Hands-on experience with T-cell assays and/or virus neutralization assays


• Hands-on experience in mulitplex assays like Luminex, MSD is an advantage


• Experience in clinical development of drugs/vaccines


• Communicative skills, fluent in English


• Management skills to supervise and guide a small team of technicians


• Trained in GLP, GCLP or GMP is an advantage, but training is provided in house

Contract: Project till March 2016

Salary: ranging from 3200 - 4000 gross monthly

Hours: 32-40
