Poste et missions:
The purpose of the VIE is to assist the Finance Manager in both group and local reporting in order to support the business and meet legal requirements.
This job sits within the Finance Team, with a shared responsibility to the Industrial Operations Manager and is Head Office based.

The job holder will support the delivery of the Company’s business objectives through the delivery of their key accountabilities as follows:
- Preparation of Urgo Industry monthly management accounts, including labour, materials overhead, fixed assets, stock and processing of journals.
- Preparation and analysis of Urgo Industry group reporting (P&L, variance analysis, KPI’s, HR, volumes etc) in line with monthly deadlines.
- Providing daily updates on industrial sales, labour efficiency (by workcentre) and material efficiency in order to facilitate root cause and corrective/improvement actions.
- Daily interaction within the Industrial environment to challenge variances, promote improvements and support the effective operation of the Industrial entity.
- Business partnering the Industrial Operations Manager, meeting on a regular basis to review their departmental spend in order to share information and control costs in line with Budget.
- Provision of Urgo Industry accounts to the Finance Manager on a monthly basis, including variance analysis.
- Assist the Finance Manager, Financial Controller and Industrial Operations Manager in Budget and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain good knowledge of the company’s processes and procedures as well as the accounting system in order to be able to provide cover for other members of the Finance team.
- Ad hoc tasks and analysis as required.
Profil:
- Degree level or part qualified CIMA/ACCA.
- Prior experience in finance within a business environment would bring additional value
- Assertive and positive approach
- Inquisitive and enthusiastic – must look to challenge and improve processes.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer literacy – strong Microsoft Excel skills in particular.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- SAP knowledge and experience (would be a plus)
