Job description
Job Title: Manager- eCommerce & CRM
Location: 10 Hudson Yards New York, NY
The eCommerce & CRM Manager will be responsible for eBoutique sales and digital content implementation with a goal of maximizing predefined KPI’s while tracking to budget and expected ROI targets. This position requires a cross-functional player who will partner closely with Marketing, Digital, Finance, Creative, and other internal and external parties. This position will report directly into the Director of eCommerce & CRM, and indirectly to the Go To Consumer Marketing Team Lead.
Specific responsibilities for the role include:
· Sales P&L
o Responsible to deliver eBoutique monthly financial sales objective for brand
o Propose and manage eBoutique fuel budget to hit financial sales objective
o Identify key eBoutique driver opportunities & execute according to approved plan
o Manage and adhere to financial promotional allowance to ensure profitability of the channel
o Manage digital vendor relationships (including vendor setup, accurate SRM digital coding, and invoicing GR)
· Content
o Strategize web needs, brief and deploy all web creative assets for eBoutique
o Research and deliver unique Marketing created SEO optimized copy for eBoutique
o Brief and deliver all eBoutique site updates in support of product launches, campaigns, promotions/animations, and brand requirements in JIRA
o QA and route for brand approval for requested site content updates
o Provide brand digital assets and content to the Skincare.com and Makeup.com corporate team to ensure brand share of voice is represented regularly
· CRM
o Create and manage CRM calendar in accordance to brand themes and priorities
o Provide day-to-day management of CRM Agency
o Load and manage all B2C email marketing creative in Trello according to timeline and provide QA approval to CRM Agency
o Brief and manage all CRM promotional campaigns in JIRA according to timeline and provide QA approval to web merchandiser
o Monitor and optimize CRM KPI’s to improve email inbox placement, open rates, click-thru rates and CRM sales targets
o Responsible for email acquisition campaigns and partnerships to meet predefined database growth and retention goals with the divisional Manager of CRM and Media
o Brief and deliver all assets and custom attributes/feed requirements to web developer and Digital IT via JIRA to obtain an official SOW from 3 rd party agency working closely with the divisional Manager of CRM and Media
o Execute Direct Mail campaigns to activate brand database and drive sales either online or to approved retail partner with the divisional Manager of CRM and Media
o Align with sales admin on a regular cadence to ensure the website Store Locator listings are accurate
· SEM
o Monitor and optimize SEM performance in coordination with SEM Agency for eBoutique and YouTube search if applicable.
o Propose retargeting creative refreshes frequently to align with Marketing initiatives in order to meet performance KPI’s as well as brand campaigns/product launch support
o Perform keyword research and opportunities for non-branded search strategy in addition to executing on brand defined generic term priorities/goals. Marketing to deliver all SEO copy to implement.
o Provide all SERP ad copy direction to SEM Agency after alignment with brand on legal compliance
o Brief SEM agency on all product launches and promotional ad copy to align with CRM/website promotional timelines
o Manage, brief and QA all campaign tracking pixel implementations for accurate KPI measurement and reporting
· SEO
o Establish SEO ranking priorities and exit goals with alignment from brand
o Perform all keyword research via SEO provided tools to identify opportunities and optimization ongoing for eBoutique and YouTube
o Manage SEO agency (if applicable)
o Brief SEO website updates (both technical and consumer copy) in JIRA for merchandiser to update eBoutique
o Ensure all SEO copy is approved by brand and is legally compliant
· Social
o Brief developer in JIRA and manage all OfferPop UGC campaign integrations in partnership with brand Community Manager
o Ensure that the brand Community Manager has correct UTM tagging structure for daily posts and campaigns to accurately captured social attribution results and KPIs in GAP
· GWP/Sampling
o Provide forecast for pre-budget GWP/Sample quantities and eBoutique strategy to Marketing Team
o Work with Marketing to create custom eBoutique GWPs and present opportunities to marketing with proposed forecasting and ROI assumptions
o Manage ongoing eBoutique GWP/Sample inventory and troubleshoot inventory feed issues with allocations/operations team
o Track ROI for GWP and sample programs ongoing to include in website KPI reporting
· Reporting/Analytics
o Provide formal monthly reporting of eBoutique performance and budget trend to brand detailing results and risks/opportunities.
o Attend marketing brand status to represent and speak to eBoutique performance
o Provide all corporate and CMO dashboard reporting metrics ongoing
o Support all digital reporting needs to support GM for MRM’s and or corporate/ international meetings
Requirements :
· Bachelor’s degree in Digital, Marketing, or similar
· 3+ years of digital experience specializing in D2C sales with large emphasis on CRM and Media
· Strong analytical and methodical problem-solving skills with proven ability to scrutinize large amounts of data and turn it into actionable initiatives (including both quantitative and qualitative data)
· A deep understanding of retail-specific promotional activities, including experience in designing campaigns that drive incremental sales in holiday and non-holiday periods
· Strong interpersonal skills – able to and enjoys working across cross-function to achieve goals
· A high degree of care for the customer experience and service
· Strong creative skills – able to and enjoys working with creative teams to provide direction and analyze effectiveness of digital creative assets
· An exceptional ability to multitask, executing swiftly and accurately
· Excellent judgment and decision-making ability
