The Role:
L'Oreal Paris is seeking a dynamic, results driven (Assistant) Merchandising Manager to be responsible for the permanent instore stands and of all product updates on the L'Oreal Paris makeup stands, for all our retailers with the Consumer Products Division.
Key elements to your role:
· Ownership of permanent stands: management of remerch CPA (communicating dates to wider team and managing deadlines). To manage the design and development of permanent stands from brief through to final production on time and within budget
· Planograms: Preparation, checking and approval
· Artwork: briefing, checking and approval
· Agency management: liaising with agency on planning and live remerches, and on in store implementation. Brief design agencies on the initiative and International direction and work together to design the complete visual appearance. Brief ‘tactical' agencies to ensure we are on track to meet instore deadline
· Permanent Budget: responsible for build and maintenance of budget. Recording over/under spend, flagging issue and findings savings/efficiencies
· Effective PO Management
· Process Management: 1/ ensure efficient and accurate tester forecasting and 2/ manage tester orders for promotions in your categories
· Communication: ensure appropriate channels are followed when getting initiatives signed off internally. Present designs and prototypes to MD and GM at weekly Marketing Meetings and Team Updates: secure management approval to progress projects at critical stages of development
