Job description
This is a thrilling role within the supply chain team of the Luxe division working with a variety of stakeholders including marketing, merchandising, sales and demand planning. The Launch Planner ensures perfect up stream launch planning and execution to achieve consistently world class product launches. The candidate will proactively seek process improvement and best practice at all times, reducing the critical path and gaining efficiency in business processes.
· Operating in a fast paced and consumer driven environment, the role of Launch Planner will involve:
· Establishing the key milestones leading to a successful launch execution
· Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with cross-functional team members and key stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are executed on time and successfully
· Organising and chairing the monthly GATE meeting to highlight risks and identify resolutions to progress the project through predetermined gates, planning all activities with the business
· Understanding internal and external constraints and how these impact the plan
· Ensuring tangible and sustainable actions emerge from instances of failure to comply to GATE
· Owning the process and guarantor of its quality. Therefore making sure the process is known and understood using appropriate documentation
· Directly in charge of the supply chain related activities to ensure shipments to customers
· In charge of PLV stock management at DC to eliminate waste
· Responsible for Christmas coffret launch execution for relevant brands
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
The successful Candidate must have:
• Supply Chain Management, 3 years + experience
· Ability to influence others
• Strong interpersonal skills and a good communicator
• Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain
• Self-starting individual and proven ability to work autonomously
· Able to look beyond existing constraints
· Resilient
· Good organisation skills
· Good attention to detail
