The Consumer Products Division is home to world renowned brandsGarnier, Maybelline & L'Oréal Paris and we are currently recruiting for a Customer Business Planner.

The Role
Aspart of the UKCPDCommercial Operations Function, this exciting role will take on responsibility for the construction of the sales forecast for the Boots Cosmetics business. This is a crucial segment of the CPD business that encompasses three exciting brands (Maybelline,L'OrealParis Make Up & Essie). This role offers the successful applicant a fantastic opportunity to work within the Boots business unit, which has well developed commercial and supply chain relationships with the customer.

You Will:

Own the CustomerSales Forecast

•Constructionof the entire customer forecast (sell in and out – base, promo and launch) in collaboration with the NAMs and Customer Supply Chain team working on the account.
•Understandthe key drivers and building blocks of the forecast, including any risks or opportunities facing the business.
•Takeownership of the volume forecast and be able to understand, discuss and challenge the intricacies of the value sales forecast.

Coordinate the MonthlyBusiness Planning Cycle

•Leadthe account Business Planning Cycle, including monthly validation of the forecast with the Customer Business Director
•Ensurealignment of the account team to monthly forecasting goals, tasks & deadlines.

Track Monthly Sales Turnover

•Inmonth tracking of invoiced sales versus forecast and weekly reporting on any key changes in the short-term horizon.

Collaborate with the Customer

•Byusing segmentation principles where applicable, ensure alignment with customer on promotional forecasts.Workclosely with CSC to ensure

You Have:


Stakeholder Management Skills

•Abilityto engage and positively influence internal & external stakeholders. Ability to manage upwards.

Demand Planning Experience

•Experiencein demand planning is an advantage
•Strongunderstanding of the building blocks and trends that influence the construction of a sales forecast

Excellent Communication Skills

•Beable to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, and simplify complex messages.

Systems Knowledge

•Excellentworking knowledge of Excel
•Experiencein demand or business planning systems an advantage
