Title: Coordinator – Marketing
Reports to: VP - Marketing
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the global development and growth of a premium, professional, medical skincare brand by coordinating and collaborating with cross functional teams. This role has a strategic focus and attention to supporting brand team activities around the management of existing products and contributing to the development of new products.
Responsibilities:
· Contribute to the development of category/brand strategies while fully owning select Marketing projects
· Play a part in innovation by suggesting ideas
· Provides support to the marketing head
· Help on creative and advertising brief-writing
· Assists in creative development (concept writing and name generation)
· Gain exposure to brand strategy and go-to-market execution
· Acts as the team liaison and contact person for shared information across departments and ensures cross departmental activities are met efficiently and productively
· Responsible for all artwork management including copy and design recommendation, Esko routing, trafficking and release
· Work closely with China team and cross functional teams to ensure that components and artwork availability needs are met to ensure timely registration of products for new launches and reformulations
· Responsible for all translation for international packaging
· Liaison with industrial teams regarding packaging and artwork
· Interact effectively with other departments to build networks and support the product development process
· Leads dermatology tradeshow planning and execution, with responsibility over budget and execution of booth, events, dinners and presentations.
· Provide support to the marketing lead on POs tracking, invoices and product orders
· Collect, compare and synthesize international competitive and consumer data and make recommendations to management
· Manage comp creation and shipments in preparation for meetings
Job Requirements:
· BA/BS Degree
· Legal authorization to work in the United States
· 2+ years previous work/internship experience; consumer goods experience a plus
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Esko.
· Knowledgeable of the beauty industry, on a global level is a plus.
· Appreciation for culture, arts, creative mindset and conceptual design
· Understands the process of launching a new product
· Ability to set goals and finish deliverables on time
· Data Analysis – i.e. worldwide competitive, market and sales
· Strong organizational skills
· Excellent oral/written communication skills
· Superb customer service orientation
· Attention to detail, quality conscious
· Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines
· Flexible; can work in a fast-paced environment, proactive approach to projects
· Language skills a plus, but not required.
