Job description

Part of the L'Oréal group, The Body Shop International is a natural and ethical beauty brand, with 3050 stores in 66 markets around the world, operating through a multi-channel retail strategy, including stand-alone stores, global travel retail locations and e-commerce sites.

Purpose of role:

To support the Global Digital Marketing and Ecommerce Strategy for The Body Shop and ensure the successful rollout and execution of the strategy within key markets. To track and benchmark performance and share best practices across markets to accelerate customer acquisition and ecommerce sales growth

Key Job Accountabilities:

·  Develop and plan the overall sales and profit strategy including budget allocation for ecommerce markets alongside the International Ecommerce Manager
·  Lead monthly and quarterly market reviews taking full ownership for strategies behind commercial ROI reporting, ecommerce marketing activities, online customer experience
·  Lead the testing, development and execution of digital marketing (paid search, retargeting, display, SEO and paid social) that directly impact awareness, engagement, and acquisition across our international markets
·  Proactively identify online trading opportunities to improve, optimise and accelerate ecommerce sales performance
·  Develop strategies to help ecommerce market teams build plans in orders to deliver online targets (customer acquisition, retention and key conversion metrics), including the forecasts and monthly reports associated with these plans
·  Analyse and benchmark ecommerce and digital marketing KPIs to identify trends and recommendations for the markets to drive sales growth and maximise conversion rates
·  Work with external agencies to drive digital marketing traffic and ecommerce sales growth
·  Work collaboratively with the Brand Marketing, Digital Creative and CRM teams to deliver integrated 360-marketing campaigns with responsibility to define the paid digital marketing and ecommerce initiatives
·  Work closely with Customer Insight team to develop a deep understanding of the customer base including new versus existing customers, taking ownership for continually evolving the plan to ensure The Body Shop is attracting the right customer mix across our markets
·  Work with Finance, IT, Customer Care and Logistics teams to deliver key projects and trading initiatives
·  Collaborate with digital teams within L'Oreal Group to share best practice and identify new opportunities for growth

Requirements:

·  Proven experience driving Ecommerce sales growth
·  Strong knowledge of digital marketing campaigns and technology (search, display, affiliates, email marketing, partnerships, Google Analytics and Google Tech Stack)
·  International experience a plus
·  Web analytics and analysis expertise

Qualifications:

·  Educated to degree level or equivalent.
