We currently have an opportunity in our Nottingham Distribution Centre for 3 Warehouse Operatives on a Fixed Term Contract for 3 months for our peak period.

1 x PM shift – Hours will be 13:50pm – 21:50pm.

2 x AM shift – Hours will be 6am – 2pm 

The Fixed term contracts are to cover the operating of a Reach Truck.

Reporting into the Flows Supervisor,our ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate a flexible and conscientious approach to responsibilities and to behave in a ways which fits with our business values. 

Primarily this role will require you to use a Reach Fork Lift Truck in a safe manner whilst achieving the productivity targets set. Some days you may be required to work in other departments on non-truck tasks, dependent on the business need. 

Your key job accountabilities will include

·     Working to Safe Systems of Work outlined in your training
·     Work within the acceptable productivity and accuracy targets set for your team
·     Following instruction and carrying out all required tasks
·     Maintain company standards and have a continuous improvement mindset
·     Support business needs by contributing with additional hours of work to support our customer needs
·     Contribute to value adding tasks and forums for improving the Distribution Centre function
·     Ad-hoc requirements as deemed by line manager, including project work

Alongside previous experience, you should have:

·  Sound numeracy skills
·  Ability to work both autonomously and effectively as part of a team
·  Good Health and Safety Awareness
·  Good attention to detail
·  MHE licences are desirable but not essential; however, you must be willing to train on and operate all MHE and FLT equipment
·  Good understanding of the warehouse operation
·  A flexible approach to work tasks and working hours in order to meet the needs of the business
