Fullstack Developper- L'Oréal USA – New York City

VIE (International Assignment – 12 months)

About the VIE/International Assignment program:

·  The VIE program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Monaco) aged 29 years or under.

So what will you do at L'Oréal New York City - USA?

To stimulate our big transformation, we have created the Tech Accelerator, a product delivery organization (startup inside the big ship) to deliver transversal use cases that will drive the tech transformation of the group, covering all business and functional domains under a network of international hubs (Paris, Shanghai, New York).

Here's few project that you will do with your future team: 

L’Oréal is in a period of growth in digital and is building dynamic and multidisciplinary teams from different backgrounds to deliver on our exciting mission to accelerate the company Beauty Tech transformation. In this context, L’Oréal has launched a Tech Accelerator, a brand-new structure contributing to transform L’Oréal into a Beauty Tech through the acceleration of strategic deep tech projects at scale. With 3 hubs in Paris, New York and Shanghai, it is a structure blending rare resources, state-of-the-art technologies & methodology to enable our best talents to deliver the most value.

We are looking for our Full Stack Developer to join the Tech Accelerator team in New York to deliver solution on strategic and high priority projects for the Group.

·  You will evolve in a favorable and stimulating environment:
·  Development of projects with many experts in their respective fields: Data Science, AI, Agility, Business experts, UX/UI, Data engineering, Big Data and Cloud architecture, DevOps & IaC
·  Diversity of Data (internal / external, structured or not) and missions (marketing, supply, retail, R&I ...)
·  Diversity of tech stacks: GCP, Terraform, Node JS, React JS, Vue JS, Python … 
·  Capacity and dedicated time to identify and test new approaches, technologies and tools.

We are looking for a  Fullstack Developper  to join  L'Oréal New York City  to work on missions such as :

·  Define the different web tech stacks & make sure of their implementation 
·  Promote the Web development good practices, standards in the different project teams 
·  Become responsible of challenging, controlling & developing our web applications with our project teams 
·  Monitor & reduce the technical dept of our web applications  About you:

First and foremost,  we love people that are curious, collaborative, eager to have an impact and who value innovation, autonomy, and team spirit.

Secondly,  in this specific position, it will be important for you to have significant experience in:

·  Work across the stack to deliver new features or new web applications from start-to-finish
·  Monitor and drive the technical project teams in their web developments to ensure a good level of compliance 
·   Provide advisory with our run teams on some bugs correction or features improvement 
·  Implement APIs, usable UIs; contribute to their design with the UX teams & POs
·  Improve performance and overcome scalability and computation delays for existing applications
·  Define and build the Unitary & integration tests, to be integrated in the CI 
·  Build the project integrations with SonarQube and follow up the Code quality scores 
·  Design & build the functional tests scripts  
·  Contribute the the DevSecOps initiatives and toolings

And finally,  you may not be an expert with all requirements listed below, however, you must show curiosity, innovation, strategy, people development and entrepreneurship.
