Team Lead I - Physical Flows

                   LUXE Operations

Job Summary: 

Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of assigned area with particular emphasis on managing customer orders, warehouse associates and implementing warehouse action plans. 

Key Job Accountabilities:  

· 
Labor Management 

· 
Provide direct daily supervision of warehouse associates to ensure the safe, clean and efficient operation of the warehouse 

· 
Develop and implement work schedules and assignments to ensure efficient operation 

· 
Apply sound communication and motivation techniques in directing staff 

· 
Create and maintain professional relationship with Temporary Help Agency 

· 
Schedule temporary labor based off production schedule 

· 
Organize and perform all necessary training to ensure the quality of production 

· 
Operation 

· 
Direct and supervise all shipments to ensure they are correct and carried out in a timely fashion 

· 
Tour the warehouse regularly to answer questions, evaluate operations and solve problems 

· 
Make recommendations to the Warehouse Leadership on programs to improve warehouse operations 

· 
Ensure accurate inventory levels before, during and after production has occurred for all goods 

· 
Assist on the production lines as needed 

· 
Create all case and pallet labels as required 

· 
Perform cycle counting of storage bins 

· 
Identify and track process improvement opportunities in an effort to improve quality 

· 
Perform special projects/tasks as assigned 

· 
Equipment 

· 
Allocate equipment so that it is utilized in the most efficient manner 

· 
Communication 

· 
Interact with other departmental management to achieve goals 

· 
Attend warehouse planning meetings 

· 
Communicate with production supervisor and operations director for daily production plan 

· 
Conduct daily pre-shift start up meeting with full time and temporary labor 

· 
Documentation/ Reporting 

· 
Ensure that all records and reports regarding warehouse activity are prepared on a timely basis and effectively maintained 

· 
Review operating goals and standards and monitor achievement 

· 
Quality 

· 
Supervise checking of freight for proper counts and codes 

· 
Safety, Sanitation, Security 

· 
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and adhere to safety and housekeeping regulations to ensure that damage to product, equipment and the facility is prevented 

· 
Ensure that all safety procedures and policies are followed 

· 
Operate in compliance with OSHA, L’Oreal EHS and other appropriate standards 

· 
Inventory Management 

· 
Maintain stock locator system 

· 
Ensure proper rotation 

· 
Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts is required 

· 
Set up and maintain all pick locations within assigned area 

· 
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 

· 
Assist in achieving the KPIs across assigned area 

· 
Able to navigate and help manage the Labor Management System (LMS) and is data with accurately 

Required Experience/Training: 

· 
Required: High School diploma or GED 

· 
Preferred: 2 years of experience in an order processing environment 

· 
Preferred: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and RF scanning equipment.  

· 
Preferred: Haz Mat and Forklift experience  

· 
Must have responsible work habits and good judgment and decision-making ability, self-motivated and detail oriented individual.   

· 
Ability to obtain L’Oreal forklift certification 

· 
RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) Haz Mat Training 

Working Conditions: 

· 
Weekend Shift, Fri-Sun

· 
Overtime can be expected during peak seasons based on business needs to increase standard shift time to 10 hours, plus working weekends 

· 
Personal protective equipment required including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed shoes and vest; other equipment provided dependent upon role 

· 
Close to moderate supervision required for this position 

· 
Able to bend, twist and lift up to 35lbs using proper lifting techniques
