Talent Acquisition Specialist - Up to 2 Years Fixed Term Contract

What are key highlights of this role?

This position will report to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, and work closely with the Human Resources team and hiring managers throughout the Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Category, IT and Education functions across all 35 of L'Oreal's international brands. Your number one priority will be constructing a pipeline of “ready now” and “future” talent for the group as well as managing some junior roles end-to-end.

You will support the Senior TA Manager by attending role briefings, filtering applications, helping to source and screen candidates managing the 360 recruitment process as well as offering new innovative ideas on how we can assess and measure talent. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders across all brands to ensure the “best and the brightest” talent is sourced and delivered to the correct teams.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to uncover passive talent utilising advanced Internet search tactics, prioritise and close searches against tight deadlines. You will be the face of our business in supporting L'Oréal's strategic sourcing initiatives to develop a network of the best talent with in-demand skills and experiences.

What are the key duties of this role?

·  Own the full recruitment process for junior Head Office roles from identifying candidates through to offer.
·  Be a solid business partner with your stakeholders to understand and identify recruiting needs.
·  Take ownership over advertising, filtering and screening applications of direct applicants.
·  Develop, execute, and monitor online candidate search campaigns using a variety of internet based resources.
·  Think outside the box with original ideas on how we can attract and maintain talent using Job Boards and Social Media Channels.
·  Search diversity databases and available ATS and Job Board systems for potential talent - Internet research utilising search engines, and available tools.
·  Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for pivitol roles in the business relying on strong internal relationships to execute speculative business interviews.
·  Help to plan and execute candidate ‘Keep Warm' Events, Assessment Centres and other talent related events.
·  Be an expert in identifying effective recruiting trends, understand how they align with L'Oreal's business priorities and develop a case to push your ideas forward.
·  Use competitive analysis to understand hiring needs and recruiting practices of talent competitors.
·  Be involved in projects which help to drive the wider HR and Talent Acquisition team's agenda.

What key skills are L'Oréal looking for?

·  Previous experience of recruitment either in Agency or In-House
·  Solutions orientated mindset with the ability to work at pace and cope with ambiguity.
·  Strong customer service philosophy.
·  Ability to manage complexity and work in a fluid environment
·  Excellent communication and influencing skills with experience of building relationships across an organisation.
·  Proven experience in building new operational HR processes, process-improvement and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
·  Ability to analyse data, draw accurate conclusions and communicate key messages succinctly.
·  Is risk aware and builds contingency into plans.
·  Strong planning and organisation skills – with an ability to appropriately re-prioritise and change as required.
·  The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and meet deadlines.
·  Experience of vendor management and negotiation.
