Hours: 06:00 to 14:00 – Fixed Term Contract

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join the team within the L’Oreal Luxe Nottingham Distribution Centre. The successful jobholder will be self-driven and results orientated. In addition they will have a logical approach to all matters and possess strong communication skills.

Reporting to the Stock Control Supervisor, the core purpose of the role is to ensure stock levels are accurately maintained. The key objectives will be to focus on quality, stock availability, stock security and continuous improvement.

You will....

•     Behave in a safe manner and support site wide EHS objectives

•     Champion stock accuracy. General responsibility to work towards an accurate stock file through promoting and ensuring stock discipline on goods receipt, putaway, replenishment and picking

•     Act as first point of contact for stock discrepancy investigations on a daily basis

•     Carry out regular inventory counting / targeted perpetual inventory (PI)

•     Solve delivery queries and error handling

•     Solve goods receipt and replenishment transfer order queries

•     On-going re-profiling on the detail and standard picking locations

•     Maintain master data files within SAP

•     Investigate customer claims • The maintenance of reports for Stock Control KPI’s and Housekeeping

•     Return stock to our vendors

•     Assign new materials

•     Reduce standard picks from detail area

•     Maintain the correct WM SAP Master Data relating to quality of pick

•     Active on the shop floor re-profiling

•     Substitutions of any required SKU's flagged by demand planning

•     Other duties and projects as directed by the Stock Control Supervisor

You have...

•     Previous experience of the SAP WM module

•     Good understanding of the warehouse operation and quality processes

•     The ability to problem solve and to demonstrate a logical approach to tasks

•     A flexible approach to work tasks and working hours in order to meet the needs of the business

•     Good organisational skills and the ability to constantly prioritise work

. Excellent numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
