Job Title – Maintenance Engineer
Division: Operations
Location: Piscataway, NJ
Reports To: Senior Technical Manager, Processing

What You Will Learn:
As the Maintenance Engineer you will provide and assist processing management in the direction and supervision to the technical work force ensuring processing operations attain maximum up-time with the highest level of quality production.
· Supervise daily processing, serving as a technical resource to the processing team and Maintenance Department
· Develop and supervise the implementation of effective maintenance procedures including preventive maintenance programs via the CMMS.
· Train, coach, and develop the technical base of the mechanic staff.
· Supervise the activities of sub-contractors, suppliers and service personnel.
· Together with processing operators and mechanics, actively participate and/or lead optimization projects.
· Troubleshoot daily Processing technical/mechanical issues
· Oversee Maintenance Department budget
· Responsible for identifying and ordering spare parts as needed
· Support internal and external site audits (ISO, FDA, etc.)
· Manage, implement, and support all L’Oréal policies.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
· High School Diploma required; Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred
· Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
· Experience with SAP.
· Experience with a CMMS.
· Must work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
· Must demonstrate excellent people management skills including the ability to develop a team of individuals capable of producing extraordinary results.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience managing a team of maintenance mechanics
• Experience managing Capital projects is a plus.
• Experience with facility utilities (boilers, air compressors, chilled water, HVAC, etc.)
