Casual Merchandiser (Melbourne based)

A world leader in the health and beauty industry, L'Oreal's consumer products division includes hair colour, skin care, fragrances, sun care and cosmetics. This role offers the opportunity to work with a market-leading portfolio of brands within the FMCG market.

Due to the expanding requirements within the pharmacy channel and high growth in cosmetics, we require talented people to join our Consumer Products Division and assist us in driving sales.

You will be passionate about the beauty industry, can work autonomously and be a detail orientated individual. This is a casual merchandising role requiring an average of 12-15 work hours per week. Applicants will need to be flexible as they will be required to work across various metropolitan locations.

This role sits within the field merchandising team and is responsible for servicing an existing portfolio of retailers. Specifically, the role will be to ensure consistent product, promotional and merchandising execution at the store level. It will also be responsible for ensuring that all our cosmetic stands include our exciting product launches.

Applicants must have a current driver's license and will use their own car with a generous fuel allowance. You should also be able to demonstrate current or previous merchandising experience with retail outlets. Perhaps most important is your professional presentation, self-motivation and excellent communication skills which will help you to build relationships quickly.

We will accommodate flexible work hours and days (between 7am-6pm) for the right applicants. All shifts will be a minimum of 4 hours plus travel time. Applicants must be able to flex up hours during our peak launch seasons.

Responsibilities:

· Update our Cosmetic stands to include all our new product launches

· Monitor compliance for all L'Oreal activities

· Build sustainable relationships with key retail stakeholders to ensure L'Oreal is top of mind

· Provide exceptional customer service at all times
