Within the Demi-Grand (DG),which is scale up unit,a pre-industrial production entity for small series of cosmetic products, as one of the pillars to the Research & Innovation division and whose primary goal is to provide manufacturing expertise to enable the laboratories testing samples performance (consumers, efficiency, compatibility, toxicology, marketing, etc.)

 

We are looking for an entrepreneurial technical project manager to take process and utilities reliability to the next level, as well as upgrade our capability from the point of QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health&Higiene and Safety), and to bottom-up competitiveness of L’Oréal R&I.

YOU WILL…

…lead mainly the following three areas of expertise:

1)      Maintenance

Make sure all equipment/utility/facility in DG are well maintained and comply with both company and local regulations.

l Lead regular maintenance program and build up preventive maintenance.

l Fix in case of any incident cooperating with vendor.

2)    Engineering

Lead new investment project/modification of equipment/utility/facility.

l Define the opportunities to be improved in terms of business priorities and QEHS.

l Make the needs into technical design considering regulations, find vendors, manage time and cost (looking for PMBOK Good Practices or equivalent) .

l Drive the project cooperating with global DG community, Campus team and vendors.

l Design and ensure the proper implementation of tests and documents on all investments (Change management, Validation...).

3)   QEHS

Coordinate people and operation in DG to ensure QEHS.

l Be a contact point in DG regarding QEHS matter.

l Encourage DG members to make sure operation comply with both company and local regulations (Training, Procedure, Record...).

l Report KPI regarding QEHS monthly.

l Assist team managers in incidents and accidents investigation.

l Coordinate audit processes and self-assessments

l Be part of L’Oréal sustainability ambition (L4TF program)

YOU HAVE…

…..strong background in the following areas of knowledge (HARD SKILLS)

·  Experience of maintenance/industrial technician in cosmetic industry for 3-5 years
·  Technical knowledge and experience on equipment of manufacturing cosmetic product and utility
·  Engineering background (New design/ Improvement of existing with hard services)
·  Both good English and Japanese communication skill
·  QEHS expertise and sustainability (Energy efficiency, waste, water...)
·  Problem solving skill
·  Project management skill
