Job Title: Matrix DMI Education & Creative Intern

Department: Matrix DMI Education & Creative

Supervisor: VP, DMI Education

General Description: To be an integral part of Matrix DMI team accountable for the administrative duties for the Head of Education and Creative. Position serves as support to the everyday organization and management of these departments.

Overall roles key accountabilities include but are not limited to managing Travel and Expenses, travel bookings, budget management, Purchase order tracking, Calendar management, shipping, artist logistics, creative site management, event management, global communication, reporting, office supply inventory and global shipping services and customer relations.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Calendar Management for direct reports and cross functional team coordination
·  Purchase order creation and management
·  Global Travel bookings and management
·  Strong communication with direct and cross functional teams
·  Department budget management
·  Attend team meetings
·  Artist communication with includes logistics, bookings, travel and billing
·  Photo-shoot logistics, inventory and coordination
·  Team inductions and trainings coordination
·  Creative server site management
·  Support and lead in preparation and organization of department meetings and events
·  Department supplies inventory
·  Organization of all meetings and development of agendas and notes
·  Daily communication with Global teams
·  Vendor communication and billing
·  Sensitivity to confidential matters
·  IT communication and issue tracking

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Position requires flexibility and adaptability with variety of projects assigned by the head of education and creative
·  College degree is required
·  Travel by air and car is required
·  Understanding of beauty industry is a plus
·  Strong computer knowledge in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
·  Strong interpersonal skills
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills
·  Commitment to personal development
·  Professional attitude and image reflective of the Brand

·  The ability to function as part of a team
·  Open and adaptable to change
·  Well-defined organizational skills
·  Basic writing skills
·  Excellent proofreading skills
