Consumer Products Division
The Consumer Products Division’s mission is universal: to offer the best in cosmetics innovation to the greatest number of people on every continent. Its brands are available in all mass-market channels (hypermarkets, supermarkets, pharmacy’s and retail stores). The division is the spearhead of the group’s quest to win over a further billion consumers. The Consumer Products Division includes popular brand such as L’Oréal Paris, NYX, Mixa, Garnier, Maybelline & Essie.
As part of the Category Demand Planning team and reporting directly to the Senior Demand Planner (Cosmetics), you will take full control of the planning cycle for your categories and be a key contributor to the results of a dynamic and record setting Demand Planning team!
You will:
You will work collaboratively with marketing, commercial, supply and the S&OP teams to ensure the highest quality forecast is transmitted on a weekly and monthly basis in alignment with key business stakeholders.
You will also have the opportunity to present your forecast to CPD Mancom on a monthly basis and will engage in project work as part of a culture of continuous improvement within the broader Supply Chain team.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage the FuturMaster forecast and ensure its quality for both CAS and Non CAS channels.
•
•Successfully manage your product catalogue, focusing on execution of launch, discon and renovation.
•
•Play a key role in aligning re-merch plans across the marketing, merch and commercial teams, with a focus on minimizing returns and E&O.
•
•Present a monthly forecast update within the Business Planning Meeting, focusing on key forecast changes, performance flags, and key decisions required.
•
•Manage monthly and weekly communication with both the S&OP and UK based supply planning teams – providing an overview of key forecast changes.
•
•Ensure strong focus on the post launch forecast period, and excellence in the area of catalogue management and rationalization.
•
•Ensure the highest level of forecast and procurement accuracy in order to maximize service levels and minimize E&O risk.

•Participate in project work on an ad hoc basis in order to help drive excellence in the forecast process and collaboration with key stakeholders

You Have:
Stakeholder Management Skills
•Ability to engage and positively influence internal & external stakeholders
•Ability to manage complexity in a fast paced environment
Supply Chain Experience
•2 years experience in supply chain is essential
•Experience in demand planning is preferable
•Strong understanding of the building blocks and trends that influence the construction of a sales forecast
Excellent Communication Skills
•Be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, and simplify complex messages.
Systems Knowledge
•Working knowledge of FuturMaster or other forecasting tools is an advantage
•Strong excel skills are also an advantage
