POSITION SUMMARY
Sourcing Leaderfor L’Oreal Beauty Devices mission is to develop and sustain Beauty Devices that will revolutionize the world of Beauty, in collaboration with R&I, Marketing, and Operations. This position is based out of our Jersey City, New Jersey office.
Their role is to support the innovation process from a sourcing perspective, develop long term sourcing strategy,ensurecompliancewithallpoliciesandprocedures,andbeultimatelyresponsibleforestablishingcoststandardsandreducingcosts.

DU T I E SANDRESPONSIBILITIES
§ Support innovation process by working hand in hand with R&I, Marketing and Operations.
§ Be part of the multi zone, multi brand project teams to support new product development for Beauty Devices across all business categories
§ Develop the long term sourcing strategy.
§ Providehands-onmanagementofvendorrelationshipsandoversightofallindividualsassociatedwithmaterialssourcing.
§ Overseeandmanageacompany-wideprocessthatresultsinestablishingandmeetingcostsavingsgoals,spearheadingnegotiationstoreducecosts,andimplementingcostcontrolmeasures.
§ Createperformancemetricsandstandardsforallaspectsofpurchasingandimplementsupplierimprovementinitiativeswherenecessary.
§ Overseevendorrelationshipstoensureoptimalcosts,quality,safety,yield,timeliness, and sustainability.
§ Identifyopportunitiestomaximizevaluefrom thecompany’svendorrelationships.
§ Researchanddevelopalternatevendorsourcesasneeded.
§ Establishandreviewpurchasingcontractsandoverseecompetitivebiddingprocesseswhere necessary.
§ Workinateam environmentbetweenthefunctionsofOperations,QualityAssurance,Finance, andotherdepartments,andinteractregularlywithseniormanagementregardinggoalsand accomplishments.
§ Maintaincomplianceforareasofresponsibilityandparticipateininternalandexternalaudits.
§ RepresentL’Oreal Beauty Deviceswitha highlevelofintegrityandprofessionalism.
QU A LIFICATIONS
· Resultsfocusedindividualwithstronginitiativeandserviceorientation.
· MinimumofBSdegreeinbusiness,finance,accounting,informationtechnology,supplychainmanagementorinarelatedarea. MBA preferred.
· Preferred 10 yearsofelectronic devicesourcingexperience
· Minimumof5yearsofexperiencemanaginga team,andinteractionsinacross-functionalteam environment.
· Excellentskillsinestablishingpolicies,proceduresandcontrols.
· Expertnegotiationskills.
· Musthavestronganalyticskills,andbeverydetailoriented.
· Experiencewithcontractreview.
· Abletomanagemultipleprojectsanddeadlines.
· Provenproblemsolvingabilities.
