Your job as an ETL Developer

KPN Telecom is a company full of data. Within our BI department we work with the latest technologies (Informatica, Teradata, Hadoop etc) to translate data into insights that can not only visualize trends and patterns from the past but can also predict future client behavior. Our BI department (in Den Haag and Amsterdam) is working on the cutting edge of technology, marketing and legal matters.

As an experienced BI Developer you are responsible for:

·  Thinking about feasibility of solutions and requirements, able to look at solutions from a customer point of view
·  Working within autonomous scrum team, innovating (design, build and test) the KPN Enterprise Data warehouse.
·  Delivering the agreed scope of the SPRINT backlog within agreed time & budget as part of a SCRUM team

What do we expect from you?

·  Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Business Intelligence with developer / engineer background
·  Experience with one of the following: Teradata DB, Informatica Powercenter, ETL,OBIEE
·  Experience working with Agile, Scrum or eager to learn Agile Way of Working.
·  Good communication skills English (Dutch is a strong asset)
·  Strong team player
·  Must have working permit for The Netherlands or EU passport

The ambition of S&I Digital is make KPN a simplified company, ready for the digital world. The department BI plays a key role in this. We reach this goal through innovating from client needs, keeping things very simple and delivering on a short cycle basis (via Agile/SCRUM). For KPN and KPN customers we create insights to be able to make correct decisions For example Campaigning, Next Best Actions and Portfolio management.
