Job description

Job Summary

Aid with the installation and maintenance of network operating software and hardware.

Qualification

§ A B.Sc. degree in Computer engineering or relevant discipline.

Skills required

§ Real time monitoring of active network devices and servers. Monitor the Data Centre and Disaster Recovery (DR) site.

§ Knowledge of Microsoft System Configuration Centre Manager (SCCM).

§ Knowledge of VMware VSphere and Microsoft HyperV Virtual environments.

§ Knowledge of Veritas Backup Exec.

§ Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory / Azure / Office 365 / Exchange Online

§ Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 operating systems

§ Ability to work in cross functional team

§ Ability to multi task

§ Possess good documentation skills

Projects

§ Take responsibility for certain aspects of projects within the office as directed by the Networking and Communications Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

§ Network and Server Administration

§ Aid with the administration of all servers and services.

§ Backup all servers on a daily basis.

§ Serve as second line of support to the user support function.

§ Deploy new version releases for all server environments, including the necessary training of support personnel.
